Production notes

From inside the build.

Notes on releases, experiments, product judgment, and the choices behind what the studio puts into the world.

This is a lightweight, repository-backed journal. Each note is authored as part of the site, with no CMS or invented publishing machine between the studio and the work.

Studio first. Lab backed.

A studio earns attention through the worlds, products, images, characters, and points of view people can encounter. Technical depth matters, but it should support the entrance rather than become the entrance.

Wizzo Labs leads with Playfold, Wizzo, Zizzo, and a clear invitation to players and makers. The Lab remains visible for collaborators who want to inspect how the work is structured.

Studio note 001 / Brand architecture

Human review is part of the system.

A build can execute without being good. A generation can complete without being ready. Product quality still depends on someone accountable looking at the result, using it, and deciding whether it should move forward.

Wizzo Labs treats that boundary as design information. Evidence can establish what happened; human judgment establishes whether the experience earns release.

Lab note 002 / Human calibration

Playable is a stronger claim than generated.

A playable world has controls, feedback, consequence, progression, and a reason to try again. It can fail in motion even when every static frame looks complete.

Playfold keeps creation close to the source and puts the result in a browser so the final argument happens through play, not through a diagram of the pipeline.
